Missing components
I received it yesterday. Unfortunately mine was missing a part that keeps it together. So i can not recommend this until i see a complete part. I have submitted a return request. Will try ordering again. Until then, 1 star.
Perfect for use with Maxim Defense Roller Delayed Buffer
I bought this based on recommendations around the Internet for use with a Maxim Defense Roller Delayed Buffer. That system is very stiff (32lb, 14.5kg) for the first ⅜" of travel, or so. This LevAR system is absolutely genius, and it makes that first little bit of pull feel just about that of a normal AR charging experience, just slightly heavier in overall pull weight. As a left-handed user, this Springfield product actually favors me over traditional right handed users, in that the handle extends out to the right side of the weapon, making it very easy to use. Another person asked about a wider handle, and there may be some confusion. There are pictures of it closed and open, those are not different products. Open, this is one of the largest charging handles that I've come across. I wear lg or xl gloves, and i can fit 3 of my fingers solidly on the extended handle to pull with.
Pros:
- Excellent leverage! Good for everyone, best for left-handers
Cons:
- Comes dry as a bone. Be sure to add quality oil to the mechanism and key wear points
Best Used for:
- Almost ideal for use with Maxim Defense RDB Roller Delayed Buffer

I have these handles on all ars i have with scopes or magnifier. Makes it easy to charge and the lever folds out of the way when not needed

Works as Advertised
I bought mine direct from Springfield Armory.
It works as advertised. Fit and finish is good.
Useful for bench shooting or anyone who has difficulty operating a charging handle, especially while sitting.
I wouldn't say that this is better than other handles on the market, but it is the only one designed for clearing certain malfunctions easier.
A bit bulky but that's immediately obvious when you compare this handle to others because of the additional mechanism in the handle.
