Most Helpful Positive Review M1A Fitting Difficult
I mounted this on my new M1A in 6.5 Creedmoor. It takes a couple of times to get this mount lined up and correct on the paper. Once I got it dialed in, I was sending rounds through the same hole in the bullseye. Only downfall is the side thumb screw keeps coming loose. It doesn't throw the site off if you check it periodically, but I'm just going to put a dab of loctite on it. Overall nice mount.

This is the best mount for a M1A. Solid mount is also the only steel mount that leaves the receiver area open.

Good scope mount

You can still use the iron sights, but with a cheek rest installed it is hard to get a sight picture. Instructions don't mention using a mallet to install, and it is quite expensive (4 stars.) Very similar to the Sadlak mounts. Still, after about 100 rounds it will hold steady (after using a mallet to hit the cam washer in place.) It shot itself loose 3 times before I hammered it down. Now, it runs correctly.
