Randall Woodruff's Review of Spuhr 35mm Rifle Scope Mounts
What a badass scope mount. It was without a doubt crazy expensive, even on sale and a 10% discount. The one thing you can say for sure it is a super precision made optics mount. Solid as a rock and there was no need to use the pine rosin on the rings with a torque value of 22 in/lbs. (6.5 Creedmoor really doesn't have that much recoil and it is not being used as military or LE weapon system). I was a tried and true Larue Tactical scope mount guy, until now. Don't let anyone tell you these mounts are not worth the extra money. If you are putting together a $3000 or $4000 long range precision rifle (including the optics) what's another $400.00 at that point. An absolute no BS scope mount, you won't regret buying one.
Pros:
- Precision manufacturing and an absolute fool proof leveling system.
Cons:
- Definitely pricy
Best Used for:
- Mounting very expensive rifle optics
