For how expensive this mount is you shouldn't have to take a file to it to make it work. Unfortunately I can not send mine back and buy from a different brand as I have modified my mount now. Honestly I've seen airsoft mounts better then this. I would not pay over $40 for this after seeing the quality. I would not recommend.
