SkyHigh Trail Camera Mounting System
Great concept and works as advertised. Pros: The extendable handles are strong enough to drive the mount into pine trees. I haven’t tried hardwoods yet. Just ensure you keep the handles in line without bowing them. The laser is bright allowing you to aim the camera during mid-day in the Florida sunshine. It’s nice to be able to mount the cameras without a ladder or climbing sticks. Cons: The saw could be sharper/more efficient and should use the common tang mounts so a better saw can be substitutes. A huge issue for me is that there doesn’t appear to be a carrying case available for this. Trying to keep all the parts wrangled and out to your mounting site can be a challenge.
Pros:
- Much safer and easier than ladders or climbing sticks.
- Easy to aim
- Laser light is bright and works even in bright sunshine.
- The drill arrachment really makes installation easy.
Cons:
- Expensive
- The saw is not efficient.
- The saw mount appears to be proprietary.
- Unable to locate a carrying case for the many parts.
Best Used for:
- Mounting trail cameras high on trees.
