I am very frustrated with this useless camera! The slightest breeze blowing a leaf triggers it. Most importantly, It takes photos seconds AFTER it is triggered! Nothing in the shot after testing with people, dogs and vehicles passing it. I have contacted them multiple times with long wait times and NO resolution. You will get the run around and be told you need to troubleshoot it again and again before any return or refund (we’ve tried every conceivable fix and setting) until you give up. Total waste of time and money with no way to return or get a refund! DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA!

I have 3 spypoint cameras and they all leak. Battery compartment was full of water and battery terminals have rusted and batteries fail. Cameras worked well until the water intrusion. The seal around the door does not work as designed. Don't recommend anyone purchase these cameras until the seal is redesigned.

I bought this camera at Cabelas and for the first 4-5 months it worked fine sending pictures to my phone. I put in new batteries when they ran low and turned the camera back on. Right now, I spent literally 6 hours trying to get it to work. I did everything, updated new firmware, everything, now when I check photos when alerted that new ones were taken, nothing shows up. Others, even on amazon have said they have had the same problem. I looked at every video spy point had! on youtube and tried them....nothing. I have had this for about a year so there is no returning it. If you are looking at purchasing this, look for something else. Even the free plan offered is garbage, not to mention the paid plans suck. At what I paid, $169 or thereabouts, nothing but garbage!
Cons:
- After initial battery change, nothing works

Bought 2. Used correct micro SD card. Correctly formatted fat32. Both cameras will not trigger past 25 FEET. NOT 25 YARDS but FEET. biggest POS. Look at the reviews pouring. Don't waste ur time I got my money back. Don't waste ur time

- Doesn't work as advertised. Not out to 80 feet should say mx 25 FEET

Had the exact same problem with leaks. Went on Youtube and found a potential fix (opening, drying out and sealing various points with silicone gel). But on reassembly the incredibly cheap screws inside kept stripping and ultimately broke off in the plastic. I know how to use a screwdriver; these were made of basically junk. Tossed the whole unit in the trash as now irreparable. Buy a better product and save time, aggravation and $.

I purchased four of these cameras about two or three years ago. I briefly activated two of them for about three months. The other two cameras were brand new in the box. This year I reactivated the original two cameras and then activated the other two cameras. I paid for the monthly plan. The nighttime photos are horrible with white circles everywhere and blurry images. Trying to contact these people is a joke! I waited for an hour and 45 minutes on hold listening to music. They never picked up. Then I tried the chat service. They will tell you after five minutes of inactivity it will be disconnected. So I just kept it active 30 minutes typing “hello?” Every five minutes. They never picked up. I just bought two Tactacam reveal gen 2.0 and the nighttime images and daytime images are far superior! Skypoint is based in Quebec. Obviously they have a very poor work ethic and disregard their customers. Don’t patronize Skypoint!!!!

- Horrible nighttime photos and no customer service

Too start off with, very hard to get the camera to find a signal. With that being said, I tried too purchase a plan for "Flex" camera but the only plan I can get to come up is for a year ?? Before you could get a plan and pay month by month. I guess SPYPOINT not happy with that so they made it so you have too purchase a whole year. SPYPOINT I'm done with SPYPOINT and your junk camera's. I will not purchase anything that has to do with SPYPOINT again.
Cons:
- Everything. You name it, it sucks if it has to do with SPYPOINT

I contacted Spypoint customer service today due to rain water getting inside my two link-micro-s-lte cameras. They are both no longer functioning. There is also water inside of the batteries of the cameras. Rain water was not only getting inside the cameras, but also inside the housing of the batteries. The weatherproofing seals on these cameras are worthless. My cameras no longer transmit any kind of data or pictures. When I contacted customer service, they asked me to email them a picture of the water inside the batteries. So I did, and then they claim they can’t replace the batteries because the warranty on the batteries is voided due to me opening the batteries. The water is inside of batteries, how am I supposed to send a picture of the water inside of something without opening it. They claim I never should have touched anything if I wanted to be able to claim a warranty on it. This was explained after I sent the pictures of course. The customer service representative told me to send pictures of the batteries! I did not void the warranty, you voided the warranty yourselves Spypoint when you told me to send pictures of the water inside the batteries. Customer service appears to look for any possible way to avoid honoring their warranty and sending replacements to customers with defective products. Customer service then proceeded to tell me they could replace the cameras if I provided a proof of purchase. I then specifically asked if I provided the proof of purchase, if th...

Purchased this camera and tried to set up a photo plan. It would not work. Tried 3 different chat sessions. They stopped responding. Called them. I was told the would not accept my Mastercard or discover. I asked for a refund and they hung up on me. The camera is now a useless paperweight. SPYPOINT does not let you know this until you already spent your money for the cam. I will not go get SPYPOINT a preferred credit card just to use there product. DO NOT BUY SPYPOINT.

Read the title. You going hour after hour of figuring out why it send pictures and then not and paying for it each month. Your not saving money. Your paying for it in time and money and time...........
