Great Barrel
This is my 3rd SSK barrel and they never disappoint. This purchase was a 10" 357max for a contender frame, fit and finish were excellent. Initial load development shows great promise with both 158gr and even more so with the 180gr. My go to load for my other Maximum barrel (180gr Fury, AA-1680 @ 1750 fps) posted a 4- shot group at 50 yards of just under an inch. More to come.

Item not as advertised.
This was listed as a threaded barrel. It's not. Barrel quality is awesome, SSK items are top notch, but Optics Planet has it incorrectly listed.
You'd think after returning it for a refund on OP's shipping dime they could have paid someone for 2 minutes of time to go in and update the item description, but it seems they'd rather be lazy and hose the next person(s) who order this for a suppressed application. Come on OP, do better.
To be clear, this is not a negative review of the SSK barrel. I didn't shoot it, but quality fit and finish appears top notch. Great company.
