This product satisfies my legal requirements in my state for storage of guns and ammunition. Both must be locked, but in separate areas. With the two separate locked areas of this cabinet, this requirement is satisfied. I originally was looking at gun safes, but their heft worried me, and I was not sure how to move it into the house. Also, as I have a fire system, I am not so worried about fire protection (nor is my gun collection so extensive). The security cabinet (green, not black) fit my needs, and it was received promptly from the seller, and in great shape. Installation was a piece of cake, and securing it to the wall simple. The cabinet can store more than 1000 rounds of ammunition, and shelving is suitable for 50 mm steel ammo cans for easy storage and access. My only real gripe is some internal parts are cheaply made (e.g., the rifle supports). But, that is easily remedied if I ever need to do so.
Pros: Received intact with no dings; simple to set up; appealing color; sturdy; ammunition on left and guns on right (to satisfy legal requirements)
Cons: Some parts cheaply made (rifle supports)
