If you only have a few, basic guns this might be all you need. If you have ARs fitted with ACOGs and 30 round magazines, forget about this safe. It easily handles up to three shotguns or rifles with iron sights. There are even hangers for up to 4 handguns too. Though I'm reluctant to call this a safe, it is a big step up in convenience and security from those tinny, key-opening green cabinets. As long as you bolt it down securely it's almost as good as a real, large, heavy safe. I like that it's lined with felt. Perhaps the best feature of this product is that it can be hidden in a closet away from prying eyes. For renters who move frequently this 100 pound safe is a nice extra layer of security. An argument could be made for breaking up a larger gun collection by installing several of these in different locations around your house.
