It's vastly superior to my older trail camera, 1/3rd the size, and both picture and video quality have been exceptional. The night time images have been stellar, the day time hi-res even better. Keep in mind that nighttime images will not be of the same quality as day time because of the same reasons regular cameras have, the F-stop/exposure and shutter speed.

Awesome, exceptional quality trail camera! Not just freeze frames, but actual video & sound! Capture game images during the day in clear color video; during the night in crisp infrared video. Though it comes with a nice strap, I mounted it on an HME universal trail cam holder, which is MUCH easier to set up & point. I first tested it out in the subdivision common area, pointed towards a wooded ravine. Though I'm never challenged to spot deer during the day, the woods came alive at night: raccoon, opossum, fox & coyote appeared--none of which I've ever seen during the day. Highly recommended, whether you need it for hunting or simply wish to spot wildlife for its own sake! The only negative: Made in China.

This is a really good 1080p video game camera. In picture mode it takes the best pictures I have seen. The 4k video option is all hype. It's 15 fps which makes the videos jumpy. I have two now and really like the day and great black flash night videos. This is the best stealth has put out in about 3 years.

excellent camera. As like many, I run many trail cams. The picture quality is the best of all cams. Easy to set up. Not real complaints, but info for future buyers. 1- you need a SDHC card, the instructions don't say so, till near the end, so I had already used a regular SD card, that wouldn't work and jammed it, so I had to reformat the card. But once I put in the better SD card, it was trouble free. Also, not sure if the trigger speed is as fast as advertised. I had a bobcat and several fox get 1/2 way across the screen before the video started. But, for the true Pro's. * absolutely the highest clarity, which has been more enjoyable than I thought. *Battery life is amazing. I'd say that is the biggest plus, the battery life. I have run only videos, the battery life is just great.*Easy set up, if you have the better SD card. And if it works well in temperatures below zero, I'll be buying another one next year.I have a Bushnell that works great below zero, we'll see what this one does, dis winter.

we love this product. we found out we have a bunch of animals behind our shed; 2 cats, 1 woodchuck, 1 skunk, 1 possum,4 raccoons, and a fox. I have used settings 1, 2, and 3. we're hooked on 3 with 10 sec video mode. I purchased a schumaker 12v 800amp jump box from Walmart 50 bucks, a cigarette adapter 2-3 bucks. hooked the adapter to the $7.00 power cord from optic and later purchased a solar trickle charge to the jump box. I would have no problem in getting a 2nd set-up for another part of our property.
