I like it.

by Big Daddy, from TN, United States Written on December 18, 2017
I bought this holster thinking it was specific for my now out of production Sig P224. When it arrived, I was surprised to see that it is some sort of universal medium frame design. Was skeptical? Strapped it on, holstered my 224. Perfect fit. Then my slightly larger 229. Ditto. (was expecting that since they have the same trigger guard). Then my Glock 23--yep. Covers the trigger on all 3 and holds them securely. Perfect. So far, I love this thing. I can't quite figure out the science or how it fits many of my pistols (the semi auto sort of medium frameish ones) but it does. And carries comfortably. No idea how it will wear but for the price, I will likely buy another if it somehow quits working. I would have likely NOT purchased it had I known exactly what it was because I would not have actually believed it. I guess I was not paying attention when it popped up that it fit my Sig 224, assuming that it was the standard molded pancake style and they would make a model just for the Sig P224 (like they all do)--but my oversight turned into a pleasant surprise as I can carry several weapons in the same holster.
Pros:
  • Design and Engineering
  • comfort and fit
Cons:
  • None that I can think of
Best Used for:
  • owb carry

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE

by Rhino, Verified Owner from OK, United States Written on March 11, 2017
Guys every now and then problems happen, it's inescapable. When they do, you better hope you're lucky enough to be working with a seller who cares as much as Stealth Operator Holsters, they understand "Customer Service". Regardless of your approach, these guys are professional every step of the way. The replacement holster they sent me was perfect. The design choices and manufacturing process is done to provide a very lightweight holster. Only time will tell on its ability to withstand abuse, I'm running it all day everyday, the holster and Mag holder are FAR more comfortable than all other kydex holsters I've owned over the last 10 years. It has an FBI angle and and will review at 30/90/180 days. Until then my recommendation is to put your $25 at risk on this new design, and I personally took it to the gunshow and holstered 10 handguns of the same "approximate" size as my Glock 23, (all the guns carried by most people who carry the most common EDC standard and compact model handguns and it strangely fit exactly like it was made for them...freaking sweet.
Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • Comfort
  • Customer service
  • Fit & feel great
  • Strong retention
Cons:
  • Riveted beltloops
Best Used for:
  • EDC
  • Rangetime with multiple guns
