Steiner = excellence, enjoyment, effectiveness.
The Steiner HX 10x42 binoculars are outstanding. Definitely a bit pricey, higher than the great majority, though really just an average price by industry standards. I decided to follow the “buy once, cry once” recommendation because in fact I have paid a lot less and just ended up with a couple of unsatisfactory binoculars laying around, and that just costs more. I am confident that I now have binoculars that I will be happy with for life and I have an outstanding warrantee to back it up from an extremely reputable and well-established company. Great Binoculars
Had these for a couple weeks now and they feel great. Just the right size and weight. Built tough. Brightness and clarity is unbelievable. You will be able to see clearly long past legal shooting light. I like, I’m sure you’ll like em.

Steiner HX 10X42 Binoculars
Ordering was generally made easy with Live Chat. Credit Card wouldn’t work so got forced to PayPal which meant I got charged poor exchange rates. These were bought for a trip to Africa and they have had good use yielding really impressive results. The magnification is ample as any higher level would mean to much shake in the image. I found these binoculars really stood up in low light conditions. We had a Jackal approach us well after sunset and the amount of detail and color in the image was amazing. My 6 year old daughter used them and thought they were great also. One interesting aspect of the image is it can appear one dimensional or flat compared to the unfocused for and aft surroundings. We look forward to many years of great viewing through these quality made, sturdy binoculars. Very happy with the purchase.

Freaking Awesome!
These are outstanding binoculars, plain and simple. Nothing compares to German glass. I've had my pair for a little over a year now. Mainly I'm using them to spot my buddy as he shoots in long range precision rifle matches. With these, I can watch the bullet on it's way to the target, not just the vapor trail. Buy these before they raise the price!!

Awesome Binoculars!
The clarity is out of this world and there is literally NO strain on the eyes. We passed them around when we got them and everyone had the same comment—DANG (not what I originally wrote, but editors caught me!)! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the objective lens covers do not like to stay on. Probably a fluke!
