Steiner 12x40 Predator Pro Compact Hunting Binoculars 242
These are great for hunting in woods and limited range situations under 300 yards. They are very bright considering the cost, but they aren't Leica's. They are 1/5 the cost of the Leica's, and they are very well made. These are my go to glasses for the woods, as they bring out the color of the deer very well agains the trees and underbrush. Highly recommended, and for the price, they can't be beat.
Pros: Rugged, high contrast, and very clear optics
Cons: focus is not set and forget, must adjust both eyepieces

These binoculars are worth much more than the price reflects. They are as clear as come of my friends Pentax binos that cost 3 times the purchase price. I absolutely recommend these for anyone. They're tough, waterproof, and have great lens covers. I spot way more animals when hunting than my friends do. They are always saying how do you find more animals when glassing big areas. They are 12 power and a bit shaky so I use a shooting stick when glassing for any amount of time. I love these and will never buy anything else !

My fifth set. I cannot keep a pair due to my hunting partners. I've sold more of these than I can count. Will outshine more expensive optics. They work great on gray days when others fail.
Pros: Clear, Lightweight,Great for long distance

Have hunted with these for 2 years. easy to pick out an animal even in low light conditions. They took a "small" bounce off the seat of the P/U and landed on the floor board. Knocked the right side out of adjustment. Off for repair now and hope that works out.
Pros: Useability and clarity
Cons: durability

Good glass for the price. I have not used hunting, but light gattering seems to be good while looking through in the yard at dusk. I also like the fact that I don't have to adjust the focus. I was a little worried that the 12x50 porro might be bulky in size, but they are not.
Pros: Clarity, No adjusting focus, Nice eye cups, Price
Cons: None
