Incredible - Steiner M5Xi Military Scopes 5-25x56mm Rifle Scope 34mm Tube First Focal Plane

I bought this after lengthy research into Steiner and other tier 1 optics (Hensoldt, S&B, Zeiss, Kahles, USoptic) after months of considerations, I opted for this optic.

I have other optics ($200-$1200), Nikon, Bushnell, Burris, Leupold, Weaver, Redfield, Vortex and Zeiss...etc but this superior to my eyes and I am certain the erector assembly tracks true from top to bottom, left-right and back again...always returning exactly to where you dial it.
I have been able to compare it directly to a friend's S&B PM2 5-25x and I could not appreciate any difference in brightness or clarity throughout the magnification range.

I bought a second one 4 months later to mount on my 7mm Rem Mag and saved $1300 over the S&B (which I had planed to buy initially). This does not mean it's superior to the other tier 1 optics, it's just that I have found it on equal footing to them and not deficient in anyway.

Yes, I will buy S&B and USoptics in the future (because I'm a gear head) but again, but I was so impressed with the build quality, the precision and stunning clarity of the glass that I bought a second.
