Steiner 10x42 Peregrine Binoculars

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on October 18, 2013
These are as good if not better than the Leica Trinovids I have. They are as rugged and durable and go above and beyond in their ease of focusing and the excellent shaped eyecups. The view clarity and crispness is unsurpassed in any european glass I've owned.
Pros: Ease of focusing, view clarity/sharpness, durability
Cons: none
Would recommend: Yes

Demos Just As Good

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on December 9, 2008
Can't complain about these binoculars at all. I was skeptical of the price, but the branding is solid. I purchased the demo set and they were as good as new, couldn't tell the difference!
Pros: Shape
Cons: Price, (get demo)

Mandatory for bird watching

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on December 9, 2008
This is a great set of binos for bird watching, our club uses this model. I saw my first scissor-tailed flycatcher with these and now I swear by them. If I had to be nitpicky I would change the shape of the eyepiece.
Pros: great color distinction, very clear, easy to hold
Cons: eyepiece shape
Would recommend: Yes
