One of the few good options at 2-12x range - Steiner HX6 2-12x42mm Rifle Scope, 30mm, First Focal Plane

I like the weight, length and reticle. I like the illumination pattern. The parallax is sharp. The eye box is very forgiving. The scope image is bright and of high quality. The turret feedbacks are nice and tactile. The only con I can mention is the scope has slightly higher chromatic aberration than my other scope. This is only noticeable under extreme condition - in my case with sun behind me and treeline against blue sky (top 0.5 Mil of treeline at 500 yards) and some vertical edge of trees. Overall a great scope highly recommended. I will rate this scope much higher than Athlon 2-12 which is longer, heavier and less sharp.
