Nice spacer but slightly longer than 0.75"
Written on Jul 10, 2026
Review for
Spikes Tactical 9mm Buffer Spacer
This is a well-made spacer and works great. Most likely it will work under most scenarios but for those who need tighter tolerance the length is not exactly 0.75" needed for 9 mm bolt. It is actually slightly taller than that (~1/8").

Excellent option for using HUB mounted devices

HUXWRX HUB QD Adapter 2.0
I was hesitant to pin and weld a HUXWRX muzzle device due to lack of compatibility with HUB mounted suppressors. This adapter is perfect to widen the options and is extremely well build. It is very easy to quickly attach and detach with this adapter. Highly recommended, expect the pricing is on higher side. I could have bought entire new barrel for the price.

Effective recoil rod
Written on Jan 11, 2026
I tested mine on a G45. The recoil feels different in a nicer way, like having a tiny compensator. The best way, I can decribe is it spreads the recoil impluse over longer time, thus making the gun feel less snappy. However, I noticed that racking the slide manually was less smooth. This is a excellent product.

JMac Customs 1913 Folding Mech
Based on mixed good and bad reviews, I believe there is some tolerence/ machining issue goig on here.
I unfortunately received a folding mech that just would not move, same experience as one of the reviewer has mentioned.
Only way for me to open the lock is to place it on a table corner and use my body weight to make the spring move up and fold.
Unless this is an isolated machining issue, I cannot recommennd this.

There is no option to edit my previous reviews so here arfe some additional thoughts
- the weight is much more 19oz (only scope).
- Does not focus well between 2.5-4.5x magnification
The second reason is why I returned this scope.

Beautiful machining but hard to fold.
Written on Aug 13, 2025
This is a beautiful piece of machining - both the SF-6 and the folding mechanism. The stock locks with almost no play.
Unfortunately, I could not fold it with hands even after watching the JMAC video available online. I need to put it at the edge of a table and lean heavily against it to lift up against the spring and fold it. There is no need to put such a strong spring, maybe I got a bad one. This is by far the hardest one to lift against the spring and fold compared to some other makes I have used in the past.
This is the reason I had return it.

Excellent trigger
Written on Aug 10, 2025
Got this for a new 10/22 build.
I already have couple of 10/22 with Kidd trigger job installed.
If you already own a 10/22 trigger housing then it is more economical to get the trigger job.
If starting from sctrach go with this as the price is very close when you get a ruger trigger+trigger job+ bolt catch+ spring tuning kit.
I could not tell a difference between this drop-in trigger and trigger job when set at similar pull weight. Only advantage is the trigger pull weight can be changed easily on the drop in trigger with set screw as opposed to taking apart and replacing the spring for the other ones.
One issue I ran into was the hammer strut protusion was hitting the stock at the back making the action less smooth. I contacted Kidd and they advised to file out a little bit off the protuding end, which solved the issue.

Good lightweight option for precision stock

Review for
Luth-AR MBA-3 Carbine Buttstock
Pros- I tried a number of stocks and finally settled on this one for all my ARs. The main reason for it is the ability to adjust the cheek weld and the buttstock in a lightweight package. I also found my ear pros to have minimum interfere with this particular stock and cheek weld design. This experience will differ from person to person but for me it works well when wearing over the ear protection. I also like the modularity as I can replace the adjustable buttpad assembly with a fixed buttpad which reduces the weight by ~4 oz.
Con - The stock will be slightly loose on mil spec buffer tube. I fixed this with a strip of tape at 12 o clock position

good design
Written on Mar 09, 2025
This hand stop is well designed and unlike some in the market has the correct width. Some of the hand stops are really narrow or don't have the correct angle and not that useful. I like the black color but not a big fan of the ODG one, as the color does not match well.

Does the job it is designed for
Written on Feb 06, 2025
This item is particularly useful for those using JP buffer spring setup. It is designed so that the regular detect pin does not get stuck between weights when removing the buffer spring setup. This design avoids that issue well and mine did not get stuck once.
