Expensive for what it is but it works like a charm on my P4Xi

by ORRacle, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on April 5, 2021
I bought a P4Xi secondhand that did not come with a throw lever and while I wish that all LPVOs came with a throw lever from the factory If you are going to buy a nice optic there is no reason to cheap out on the throw lever and this one did not disappoint.

Well machined

by Bob, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on October 11, 2018
I got one of these on my other Steiner scope. I liked it so much I bought one for my p4xi. It's very well made. Definetly a little expensive for a small peice of metal. But still very nice. I like how it fits perfect and matches perfect to the same color as the scope. Would recommend
Pros:
  • well machined
  • Matches finish
Cons:
  • Expensive
Best Used for:
  • Steiner scopes

you gotta get one !!!!

This is a useful option with any optic, but when we’re talking low-power variable optics (LPVOs) they’re definitely worth some extra consideration. Instead of having to grasp a ring or wrap your hands around the rear objective to swap magnification levels, you grab the stick and go (there’s a joke there someplace…) This means that you can swap from scanning or shooting at close range with a lower magnification to upping the level for a longer precision shot very, very quickly.
Pros:
  • Well made - perfect fit
Cons:
  • none can see
Best Used for:
  • Shooters

Really Nice Throw Lever

by Jack, Verified Owner from UT, United States Written on June 22, 2018
It's a well machined throw lever but with my setup of 1/3 co witness ADM mount and Magpul MBUS rear site it wont work as there's no space for the lever to move.

I still recommend the throw lever though as I said it's very well made.
Pros:
  • light
  • well made
Cons:
  • doesn't fit my set up

Must Have Item

by John C, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on January 23, 2018
This compliments the scope. It makes it much easier to toggle between magnifications. I would purchase as a complete unit w/scope. Unfortunately, they were sold out and had to piece meal, but still worth it.
Pros:
  • easy to install
Cons:
  • no suggestion on placement

Throw Ring for 1-4 power scope

by Scott, from WV, United States Written on December 15, 2017
Purchased with the Steiner p4xi (optics planet sold out of scope that came with it) and optics planet threw in ring at no cost. Good customer service, the ring is easy to install, and no reason to have a 1-4 on a rifle without a throw ring.

Steiner Throw Lever for T5Xi/P-Series Riflescopes

by Eduardo, from CA, United States Written on February 19, 2017
This is an awesome throw lever for your Steiner scope. The lever fit just perfect. I would recommend this lever to other people that own Steiner scopes. Optics Planet does a great job describing the product.
Thank you.
