While it is well built, I could not get HP or flat tip rounds to feed without lots of jams. And the jam is actually within the adapter itself. Sterner 9mm conversion
I had another 9mm conversion adapter, and had enough issues. Double taps without trying, failure to feeds, frustrated. Ran this , and so far no issues so far.

doesn't work with cmmg banshee uppers
Doesn't work with cmmg banshee uppers, but no where is it mentioned that it will only work with certain 9mm bolts. Waste of time and money. Returning asap.

No more failure to feed issues!
Tried to use Endomags on my 9mm pcc build. I could never get them to be even close to reliable. Just bought another pcc that takes Glock mags, so I decided to convert my stock 556 lower to Glock mags with this Stern Defense adapter. I wish I would have went this direction in the first place. It is very easy and quick to install and I have had no ftf issues.

ar-15 to 9mm
Does exactly what it’s supposed to do have about 500 rounds through it so far and had zero issues, bolt locks open on last round every time. Great way to practice with rifle/pistol with cheaper ammo

Works great so far!
I used this to make an Ar9 build using an Aero lower. I put about 200 rounds through it so far with no feeding issue or jamming. The last round hold open has also worked everytime.

Didn't work with a spikes 9mm upper and stag ar lower
Followed the instructions to the letter. Did some research online in regards to possible user related issues. Adjusted several times, tried different ammo, tried different glock mags, and no amount of tinkering would make it work. Reached out to Stern Defense customer support and they never responded. Save yourself time and money and go with a dedicated 9mm lower.

Works as expected, would recommend
I wanted to build a 9mm AR and had a few mil spec lowers laying around, so I decided to get this instead of a dedicated AR-9 lower. It was easy to install as long as you follow the easy instructions. I had no issues with it at the range the other day. I used both Glock mags and Magpul mags for a Glock 19, and had no issues of any kind. They was little to no mag wiggle when seated and they ejected cleanly when empty. It fed great using Remington range ammo and the LRHO worked every time. The only issue at all, if I had to find one, and this is just a muscle memory issue for me, is the ejection lever will take some time to get used to. I knew this when I bought it, and like any new gun it will just take rounds down range to get used to.

Excellent fit and finish
This adapter fits perfectly in my 5.56mm lower. Glock magazines fit with ease and the mag release is in the perfect spot.
