Bought this to site in rifle with, 30-06 hoppes up out of vise and has to be reclamped every shot. I filled bottom of vise with lead shot as recommended and this works great to hold sturdy for cleaning and mounting scopes.
Pros: great for holding rifle sturdy
Cons: not very good to use with actual firing while clamped
