Solid case

This is my second iM3100. Fits a carbine length rifle well with space for plenty of magazines and accessories. The layered foam cuts easily with an electric knife after outlining components with a piece of chalk.

Excellent hard case

I purchased the 40" Pelican iM3100 storm case for my Kel-Tec RDB bullpup 5.56NATO rifle (17" barrel) with a Vortex Viper PST Gen II, 1-6x24mm, VMR-2 Reticle, Rifle Scope. After tracing the foam and cutting it using an electric knife, my bullpup was snug and ready for travel. The six "press & pull" latches provide numerous locations to lock the case making it the most secure hard case I have ever purchased. The smooth rolling casters make it easy to transport. This is the only hard case I felt comfortable to safely carry the $1,700 investment I have in this firearm.

Great case

I absolutely love this case. Love the color and the depth of it. Fits both of my 16” AR’/ in their snug as a bug and I don’t have to worry about my scopes getting banged around either. (Vortex strike fire) which I just also received from you guys! Love the scopes. Can’t wait to get them sighteed in a slaying oyotes!!!I also bought the XL Plano pistol case. Which is perfect for my 3 pistols.

This is a quality case. I take all my weapons to the range in one case. Nice wheels and handle. 1 piece foam that you can cut out to fit any weapon, magazine, or in my case, Speed Beez Speed Loaders. 5 push button latches. I wish I could attach a picture to show you how it looks with all my weapons and ammo in it.

Amazing fit and finish plus great protection for my Colt AR-15. I am in the military and have deployed on several occasions with Pelican cases so I know about their durability. I would buy nothing else for my own guns.

Pelican Storm iM3100 w/soild foam

This is my third Pelican brand case gun case and my second Pelican "Storm" model. All of them are rugged and provided excellent protection whether you're just going to the range or travelling. I especially like the "Storm" latched with the button in the middle to help for easier opening witout sacrificing security and tight fit. The foam can easily be custom cut for your needs and the wheels smooth and make is easy to roll when necessary. These products are a joy to own and their fit and quality are first rate.
Pros: tough, rugged construction; ultimate protection for valuable firearms, easy to open latches, sturdy handles and wheels
Cons: a little pricey and heavy but worth it for what it provides and protects

I have purchased two other storm cases in the past, they have been great cases and held up really well. The iM3100 lives up to the expections I had. It's a great case.
