I got this barrel for my 17 mos glock-gen 4 because I wasn't satisfied with the results I was getting with all of the self defense ammo I was trying from the factory barrel. The drop in fit was excellent. I then ran a couple of boxes of fmj rounds through it for break-in. I then cleaned the barrel with a bore snake and proceeded to run 9 different brands of s.d. ammo through it. They all grouped well and to p.o.a. which didn't happen at all with the factory barrel. The fiocchi 147gr xtp and Remington 124gr ultimate defense both shot a ragged hole you could cover with a nickel for 6 shots each....

Glock 17 9mm barrel

This barrel has improve the accuracy of the gun. I prefer the 1 in 16 twist over the stock Glock barrel 1 in 8 twist. I had problems with some bullets tumbling with the stock barrel when using my reloads. This solved that problem without having to work up a new load just for the Glock. Also, I can use lead bullets. Thats a must, since I cast my own bullets from time to time. I really appreciate the fact that I can just buy a barrel and drop it in without having to fit it to the gun, no gunsmith is needed.

Great Barrell!

Great barrel for the money. The fit is good. Can't wait to get out and shoot it again. I could definitely see a difference over the factory barrel. I've seen on other websites for more money, so save yourself some by buying it on OpticsPlanet.

Got this barrel and dropped it right in before taking it to the range no problem. A nice tight fit and an accurate barrel plus it just looks good. With a coupon and shipping I paid just over $120 and in my opinion it was well worth it.
