Fantastic match-grade Barrel, full chamber support, super accurate

The barrel dropped into my Glock 21 with absolutely no modifications. The barrel fit and lock up is much tighter than the original Glock Barrel. I use a small inexpensive muzzle brake compensator threaded on to the end of the barrel. Felt recoil is reduced by about 25%. Muzzle rise is no more than about 10 degrees with standard 230gr FMJ. I've shot hundreds of rounds without a single misfire or feeding issue including hollow points and + P hollow points. No bulged cases. Cases are pristine upon ejection so they can be handloaded with ease. Based on testing of the Storm Lake Barrel velocity increased about 100-150fps over the factory polygonal barrel for the same load. In many cases this is enough to push the round into the Super Sonic range near 1300fps. It took about 20 or 30 rounds for the barrel to break in. It was shooting as tight of groups at a 100 feet as it was at 25 feet free handed at an Indoor Range. In the future I have the option to swap out the compensator for a suppressor. There's not one single negative aspect of the swapping the factory Glock Barrel out for the Storm Lake Barrel. Removing the compensator and replacing it with the thread protector allows the gun to carry the same as it always did for self-defense purposes. Swapping the Glock Barrel out it was the best upgrade I've ever made to a gun. Replacement is mandatory if you're considering reloading 45 ACP.
