This is a great barrel fir the money. It is a drop in on most guns. I wish it were a little tighter in my gun i usualy hand fit all my gunsmith fit barrels so i am used to a real tight barrel fit and lockup but for a drop in its not bad at all. The only other down side i found was the barrel is about a half in longer than i would like i have a 5 in government length 1911 and the barrel sticks out about a half in beyond the front bushing before the threads start so you have a total of just over an inch sticking out thr front but overall its a great buy and very accurate i recomend
