Great Barrel
I installed this barrel in about 2 minutes,fits like a glove. More accurate than my 40S&W factory barrel. No jams so far, shoots flawless. Fun to shoot, cheaper to shoot, and has less recoil than my 40S&W. I did have to buy 9mm magazines. I highly recommend this barrel. My only con is I wish the 9mm etching was larger and on top of the barrel instead of on the side, less confusing.
Good Quality
Quality of this conversion sw 40 to 9mm barrel was excellent. Unfortuanely it was the wrong size for my full size pistol. I needed a shorter conversion barrel. Seems Storm Lake, the manufacturer, has discontinued making the 4.25 conversion barrel, which I feel ismore popular.

Well Pleased
Just bought a 5" ported slide kit for my M&P 40 and bought this barrel to convert it to 9mm (even though not ported). Was able to get out to the range to test fire both. It fir and performed well. Due to the wet conditions of the range I was not able to put out targets but I estimate that the point of impact of the 9mm 115 gr ball was fairly close to the S&W 40 180gr ball. At 25 yards standing I was hitting pop cans with either caliber with the same point of aim.

Did not fit
For reason this drop in barrel would not drop into my M&P Pro Series 40L 5" C.O.R.E. Oddly it did fit my 4" M& P 2.0 but that is not what I bought it for.It appears that the end of the barrel diameter was milled to long.
