Best upgrade for a Glock Model 40
Accurate, reliable, fully supported chamber. Brass comes out ready to reload. I’ve tried three brands of barrels in this gun, and Storm Lake is the one that gets used. Optics Planet prices are the best I’ve seen.
high quality barrel
lets start off by saying stormlake barrels are top quality. The fit and finish are perfect. I have not shot it yet but so far I am pleased with it, the part I am not pleased with is the hassle I got from opticsplanet.com, I originally ordered a 5.3 inch barrel with 2 ports, they sent me a 4.6 inch for a glock 21 in the stormlake packaging for the 5.3 inch 10mm (someone switched barrels somewhere) after a week of processing delays I called and was told the item I wanted was sold out. I was told I could subsitute another barrel for same price, ok I did that, then I see on line they canceled that order and charged my credit card for the second time. To make a long story short after many phone calls and e-mails I finally contacted someone who knew what they were doing and got it straightened out. I feel I can not risk this kind of customer service in the future.

Stormlake 6" Glock 10mm Barrel
Shoots hardcast heavy bullets accuratly and zero jams in over 200 rounds. This will be the barrel i use for hunting or carry in bear country. I'll use it for cheaper practice with cast bullets too. A great addition for a Glock 20.

Storm lake 6.02 as glock 20 barrel
Ordered barrel on a Sunday had it by Friday 2 days earlier then promised dropped in gun checked function put 6 rds in mag fired flawlessly with stock recoil spring 5$ coupon and 20% off barrel is truly a drop in fit and finish perfect very shiny next will be the 5" for carry

Good value for a barrel upgrade
Fit & finish are great. Inside if barrel looks to be very smooth with no burrs. Only had a chance to run some FMJ ammo so far, but noticeably more accurate than the original barrel with the same ammo.
