The barrel was packaged very well. After inspecting it I installed it in my gun. They said it was a "drop-in" barrel and it was. Dropped-in very easy, no issues. Looks awesome and it shoots straight & true. Very happy with the barrel. Storm Lake makes a 1st class product.
