Best way to get two pistols out of one

The Stormlake 357Sig drop in barrel fit my .40S&W Springfield XD pistol slide like a glove. The barrel was polished well ,had no tool marks , and had strong rifling groves. I haven't fired it yet but it appears to have the same quality as the original barrel.
Pros:
  • good fit and finish
  • Good fit to my pistol's slide
Cons:
  • hard to find
Best Used for:
  • Changing calibers in the same pistol

This item is great as described so far. Direct Drop in replacement for the 40cal XD. I have completely switched calibers with this simple mod, less recoil and more accuracy. Gave 4 stars because I feel it should be coated as a standard.

357sig barrel review

I ordered this barrel so I could have the choice of a 40 cal or 357sig. It fits perfectly in my xd service model. The barrel is stainless in color vs the black of the original 40 cal. The point of aim is right on target, and have not had any loading or ejection issues what so ever. If you are looking to expand your caliber choices like me the stormlake barrels are the way to go. As a reminder to new reloaders for the 357sig always use flat top bullets (components) and make sure that there is a short distance from the top of the bullet to the ogive.
