I love Streamlights, their deserved reputation almost puts them up with Surefire for quality,reliability, and warranty, at a fraction of the cost.My 3C pro-polymer is my bedside light, and i got one for my mom,who loves it,also.It's much more a bright,wide-spill, indoor,checking that bump-in-the-night, hurricane/survival kind of light that an outdoor thrower.It's not going to shine across the yard,across the street,and way into the woods, but it isn't designed for that, so no problem. The only downside is that it doesn't really last for the advertised 300+ hours,a major reason i purchased it. ...

battery compartment

This light is very good when a flood light situation is called for. It lights up a wide area for good viewing. Don't buy this type of flashlight thinking it will also work as a spot light. For what it was designed, I would reccomend it.
Pros: Makes a very good flood light.

Emergency evacuation flashlight for office

Excellent emergency evacuation light for our office, located in multi-story building. If the power fails (perhaps because of a fire) the building's staircase has emergency lighting, powered by generators. But, if they also fail for some reason, the stairway would be dark. Our emergency evacuation plan now requires that a flashlight be carried, just in case, and a Streamlight 3C Propolymer LED is kept at hand for that purpose. It is rugged, dependable, bright, and likely to continue working, even if dropped down a flight of stairs.
Pros: Bright, long burn time, very durable

Not As Bright As I Thought It Would Be

I've always had good quality with Streamlight products. The 3C Propolymer LED Flashlight is well-built and should take lots of abuse without breaking.

The light output is very diffuse, however, and doesn't carry as far as I would have expected. Perhaps I've been spoiled by Streamlight's TL-3.
Pros: Solid construction and durable
Cons: Light output a little dim
