Folks, A word of caution for a very specific situation: I own multiple streamlight and Surefire products and am a military user of remote switches on handguns/long-guns. I'm not an expert but I have more experience than many. My Glock contour remote switch has a touchy electrical connection on the grip (paddle portion works fine). When I try to use the laser or laser/light on my TLR-2G, it doesn't work correctly (in laser and light mode or laser/light strobing mode). What narrows down the issue is the laser and light get brighter when I press the paddle with the grip already depressed. I've tested the TLR-2G with the standard backplate and with the rifle remote switch. Both of those work perfectly. I want to be clear on this point: I have a TLR-1 (C4 LED) and it works just fine but also gets brighter when I depress the paddles in addition to the grip. I'll be discussing this with Streamlight and I have confidence that they'll address the issue. I've become a strong believer in Streamlight as they produce a solid product for a much lower price than Surefire. Again, I own both and have use both companies products in combat so don't think I'm throwing either company under the bus. This is just a minor issue with a very specific quirk.
Pros: Ergonomics
Cons: reliability in specific mode on TLR-2G
