Wouldn’t know if it’s any good.
Still haven’t received this, Optics Planet will say something is in stock, let you order it, and then wait until they have it in stock to ship it. Customer service is unreachable, and the order can’t be cancelled. I might recommend this product, but I definitely suggest buying it anywhere other than...

TLR IR Flip Top Lens
Do NOT waste your time or money with this IR filter if you intend to use it on a LED light as LEDs do NOT produce light in the IR spectrum. The IR filter is intended ONLY for lights using incandecent bulbs.
Good Color, Weak Hinge, Overpriced
The filter color is perfect but the "hinge" is just a plastic tab and not a real hinge and I don't see it lasting very long. It doesn't flip off smoothly and, sometimes, not completely leaving you with a half green/half white circle of light. Also, this item is WAY overpriced for the material ii is made from. Unfortunately, it's also the only filter product for Streamlight products that I've been able to find.
Pros:
- good color
Cons:
- Overpriced
- Poor materials

IR streamlight filter
Awesome!!!!! Can’t say enough. This was a good little cheap accessory that attaches to practically any stream light weapon light or hand held light that basically sets the night vision on fire!!! It’s awesome. I definitely recommend it. Fits great. Easily to apply onto your weapon light or handheld. It probably fits sure fire lights too but I don’t own a sure fire light.
Pros:
- awesome
Cons:
- I do not see any thus far.
Best Used for:
- Weapon and hand held stream lights.

Extremely cheap
Cheaply manufactured, lens body and cover are the quality you would expect from a cereal box prize. Although it’s advertised as a pro tac light it does NOT fit my protac tactical flashlight. Second huge disappointment from Streamlight in the same order. The rubber is extremely pliable, so I would not expect this to actually stay on the light if it did actually fit. The lens cover is not hinged, it’s just a cheap piece of rubber that would let the lens cover flop around when it wasn’t on. The rubber “ hinge” is one piece of rubber that is part of the main unit so you don’t even have the option of popping it off and pocketing it. As popular as hog hunting has become, its frustrating that none of the food tactical light companies make a decent green lens cover so you can use the tactical light you already own for hunting. Heads up- they would sell! After numerous delays, items not in stock and a very, very poor experience of having to use store credit for returns only to be updated for months that things are out of stock and then ultimately unavailable I have decided it isn’t worth my time to go thru this agonizing return experience with a Optics Planet again. I will eat the small cost and shop elsewhere moving forward. Honest descriptions, a more user friendly website, a better return policy and the integrity to not advertise product you don’t actually stock would go a long way towards customer retention.
Pros:
- It may actually burn like a ranger band
Cons:
- Does NOT fit pro tac lights

Streamlight IR cover
Not a true flip-up cover, but it works. Why do you want a flip-up cover in IR? How many times have you had a flip-up scope cover come open when you didn't want it to?? I don't want this happening in a tactical situation, so I am ok with how this cover fits on, at least for an IR cover.
Pros:
- stays on
Cons:
- if you want flip-up, this isn't it

Streamlight 69117 Green Flip Top Filter for the TLR-2 HLG
The Flip top lens is very straightforward and purpose built for the C4 light bezel.
PROS:
- snug fit
- light weight
- bright green light
CONS:
- not a traditional flip top design and difficult to remove for intermittent work, more of a leave on design
- the thickness of the cap material interferes with the laser on the TLR-2. The laser just barely touches the edge of the plastic lens retainer.
I cut off the retainer ring and shaved the edge and that helped.
Overall: Happy with the green light and snug fit.
I would still recommend this filter, in spite of the flaw.

IR Filter for streamlight
Excellent filter for the streamlight. Had concerns that the white light would "leak" but this filter seals tight and blocks all visible light. Excellent compliment to any NV system. I like running this filter on the white light instead of a dedicated IR illuminator for the options it provides.
Pros:
- Does what it is supposed to do.
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes

mehhhh, Not for a weapon light
About as cheaply made as can be. Not impressed. The frame around the filter lens is a single rubbery price. No hinge, no positive lock when closed or spring to insure it stays open. I was expecting a Streamlight quality filter & got Wallmart in stead.

Good fit. A little easy to scratch.
My only complaint is that the lenses scratch rather easily. On a side note... I wish I could find these for Streamlight Jr. Flashlights too. This product (the green version) fits well and does not diminish light output too much. If it didn't scratch so easily, I'd give it a five.
Pros:
- fits TLR weapon light well
Cons:
- Lens Scratching
Best Used for:
- night hunting
