Flipmate shock!
Just received this & wow! Very nice. Solid, like previous reviewer said. The only thing I’m concerned about now is when will it break. Made in China.
I don’t care as long as it lasts forever. You
would think it was made in the US or
Germany. Could possibly be the most versatile light
I’ve ever seen!

the best rechargeable compact LED work light with magnets is now my Stream Light Flip mate!
I just got my new Streamlight Flipmate flashlight, and I am so happy.
It is small, but as soon as you take it in your hand, it feels that it is built like a tank.
It is by far the best rechargeable compact LED worklight that I have used.
It came precharged, but use it a lot and charge via USB and just have it attached to my computer with the flash light magnets and use it as my desktop LED lamp ;-) It flips 360 degrees and it is very convenient for a spotlight when i need to deal with my A/V rack wiring or fixing something with my car. It is not cheap, but I will probably get a second one ;-) I also have a Goal Zero Torch 250 flashlight, and it is nice because it is a flashlight, floodlight and emergency red light with a solar battery and hand crank, but it is much larger and not as portable to use. I love them both, but Stream light Flip Mate is getting used more because it is smaller, easier, and reminds me my old Motorola flip phone =)
