as a former volunteer fireman, i was familiar with the streamlight litebox and it's dependability and performance. i've owned one for over ten years and purchased this one for my son as a gift.the long burn time keeps you going at whatever without worrying about light. rcharges in it's holder and is always ready.
Pros: super bright, 8 hour plus burn time, tough and always ready
Cons: took about 30 mins. to mount in my son's truck and connect to the electrical system
