The lowest light setting, as previously mentioned, does not transmit enough light to see anything. I can't even see that it's on unless I look directly at it. However, I appreciate that the dial allows me to choose a type of light. The dial is difficult to turn. The light is easy to turn on with its endcap switch. For this pricepoint I expected a little more.
Pros: can choose one type of light
Cons: lowest light unusable
