I have had the Xenon version for over a year. The LED version came out right after I purchased the light. I like how the selector switch has a glow in the dark label which makes finding the light in the dark easier. I used the selector switch like a clock to remember settings: 12 is off, 3 is low, 6 is 2 LED, and 9 is white. The lowest setting is most useful in the dark after your eyes have adjusted. I can navigate around with the low setting. The bright green LEDs don't seem as harsh on night adjusted eyesight as a white light would be.
This is definitely a lower cost alternative to the Surefire A2. If you want more colors or adjustable output look at the Streamlight Sidewinder series.
Pros: Low-light/Non-white light features
Cons: None

Looks and feels good, 3 beam feature is nice option, but the 1 led is so dim that is almost unusable even is pitch black. Xenon bulb is no better than an average flashlight. Not much brighter than a mini-mag and totally inferior to the Surefire G2 that I had before it was stolen. Rated at 72 lumens, but does not perform like it. If you want a bright xenon light, get something else.
Pros: nice shape and design, multiple settings
Cons: xenon bulb is very weak

Very good value. Built very well. This light will last many years. It does not gome with a case. This is the only thing that would make it better.

I use it for aviation. A well made product with good diversity of beams. However, it is difficult to read/understand which selector position gives you which beam. Selector switch itself is not easy to use. So I find myself just moving it until I hit the beam I want.
Pros: Sturdy, good range of beams
Cons: Setting indication confusing

For 11 years I've been loosing red lens filters for my flashlights, problem solved! The xenon bulb is bright enough to accomplish the mission without blinding people in the next state, and the red LEDs are the perfect intensity for light discipline during training. I highly recommend this light to fellow Soldiers, Sailors and Marines.
Pros: Dual purpose, exceded expectations
Cons: Cons? what cons?
