I have had the Xenon version for over a year. The LED version came out right after I purchased the light. I like how the selector switch has a glow in the dark label which makes finding the light in the dark easier. I used the selector switch like a clock to remember settings: 12 is off, 3 is low, 6 is 2 LED, and 9 is white. The lowest setting is most useful in the dark after your eyes have adjusted. I can navigate around with the low setting. The bright green LEDs don't seem as harsh on night adjusted eyesight as a white light would be.
This is definitely a lower cost alternative to the Surefire A2. If you want more colors or adjustable output look at the Streamlight Sidewinder series.
Pros: Low-light/Non-white light features
Cons: None
