Most Helpful Positive Review Works great but a little large for duty belt
Light is extremely bright. I have been able to light up park areas at night and it's amazing how far the light shines. On car stops it not only has th ebright hot spot but the "halo" of the light is bright enough to see what else is in the car. Problem is it's just a hair too big. I went from the basic rechargeable Stinger to this Polystinger DS. The poly is just too big for the Bianchi Size 2 open holder, it does not come out smooth. Stream light stinger

Better than I expected. The light output is brighter than expected and the dual activation system gives me more options for handheld techniques with pistol and rifle training. The battery seems to be holding up well although it is still a new light. Overall a great purchase

great, well rounded service/work flashlight

Great work light for dark basements and attics.... Not bulky or hard to handle.... Does not roll away when placed down or dropped.... Adjustable output is great to prevent light throwback in tight spots.....

Polystinger

I used Stingers for 15 years work in the automotive field. The Polystinger has a rugged feel to it. Doesn't feel like cheap plastic but is definitely light weight. Best part about it you can drop it on the floor and it wont bend the lens bezel of get scratches on it. Best Stinger for the money hands down. Plenty bright for my line of work.

Great Light

I had one of these already but needed another light for travel. It's light, shines a powerful beam and reliable. Has adjustable switch for different beam setting an is easy to use. I have the charger mounted in my vehicle for ease access. Highly recommended!

Impressed with Streamlight customer service

I purchased an ultra streamlight in 2002 when I began working in law enforcement. I began to have some problems after 12 years and planned to replace it with a newer LED flashlight.

I contacted streamlight and they are fixing my flashlight for free and will pay the return postage.

I was told any flashlights in the stringer family series can share the same charges from my Ultra Stinger.

I intend to purchase a a polystinger for all of my family members. The price I paid for my Ultra Stinger I feel is worth the cost when I am treated great after owning the product for over 12 years.

Amazing light!!

For the money, this is the brightest light I've found. My FTO was impressed with how bright it was. It makes traffic stops at night a LOT safer. And, I know I've got the Streamlight reliability and customer service! They are a little pricier than other options out there, but you get what you pay for.
Pros: VERY Bright, VERY easy to use.
Cons: Tough to get into a duty belt holster

Great Flashlight

This is the 2nd Streamlight that I have purchased. I liked the first so much I got one for my daughter. It is excellent for lighting up the back yard when I take the dogs out at night. It rests in its charger when not in use and is always ready with a bright beam. I have had the first light for almost 3 years with no problems and expect the same from this unit.
Pros: bright beam, holds charge, dual switches

PolyStinger DS LED duty flashlight

I purchased the PolyStinger DS LED flashlight as a replacement for my old PolyStinger. By far this flashlight out performs the regular Poly. The rear switch is perfect on traffic stops at night.
Pros: Lite wieght great value for the price

did not read teh description well enough to realize this is a plastic housing, other than that i am very pleased with the product. the light is top of the line and very bright and economical to operate, I bought to stinger as well and use them both nearly every day/night
