So far, this light compares nicely to my surefire Duel Fuel Scout. It's actually a little brighter and has a wider throw, which I appreciate. It is big though. It's a big'ol honking piece of kit. If you're OK with that, the price on this is very doable. The other, more expensive lights are great but at this price, this light is a steal! As former military I can also tell you, if you are not jumping out of helicopters, rucking through the mountains or conducting high-risk operations with your rifle, you will be just fine with this light. Streamlight lights have also shown to be very dependable doing some things that might be considered "being rough" with your rifle and has done very well. This is a great light!
Pros:
- Lots of light with wide throw. If out in the open, This light is incredible. It's not as heavy as it looks. Comes With a Switch...not a $100 separate charge! Rechargeable batteries are easy to find and not very expensive. Mounts beautifully to picatinny r
- Price Is Right!!
Cons:
- BIG! But not necessarily overly so. It's just bigger than my more expensive light.
Best Used for:
- Any situation where white light would be needed. I like the power of this light because it will absolutely blind someone, keep them disoriented when shown in to the eyes. Seems robust. My other streamlights after several years, are still going strong!
