Protac 2.0 Rail Mount
Written on Dec 02, 2023
So far, this light compares nicely to my surefire Duel Fuel Scout. It's actually a little brighter and has a wider throw, which I appreciate. It is big though. It's a big'ol honking piece of kit. If you're OK with that, the price on this is very doable. The other, more expensive lights are great but at this price, this light is a steal! As former military I can also tell you, if you are not jumping out of helicopters, rucking through the mountains or conducting high-risk operations with your rifle, you will be just fine with this light. Streamlight lights have also shown to be very dependable doing some things that might be considered "being rough" with your rifle and has done very well. This is a great light!

Good-- But.....
Written on May 15, 2020
I support Inforce the company and basically all American companies today. I own 2 of these lights. This light is good and has some good lumens but I started noticing something. After a few mags of shooting 556/223, the little screw that keeps the light tight on your rail comes loose. I've tightened it a few times and noticed that it still comes loose! I don't want to over torque this screw trying to keep it on there...its going into plastic and being held in plastic. So just be aware that you could have this issue. Maybe the new Inforce lights coming out will not have this problem?

Awesome Brace!

This is what I've been waiting for! Perfect for anyone with an AR pistol! It does everything you need it to and simply replaces your milspec stock! No need for proprietary tubes and other stuff. You can't get any better than that!

MI SS. Gen3 MLOK

Midwest Industries SS-Series M-Lok Handguard
Outstanding rail for your AR! Im putting mine on an AR pistol build and couldn't be happier. The MLOK system beats keymod, hands down and it also comes with QD sling attachment points. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one of these for another rifle build. The only negative I can give is using an apoxy/glue as part of the rail mounting system...but not a big deal. The rail is solid and I would take it into combat.
