Junk. Don’t drop it. I’d humbly suggest a larger diameter and a quality make, like Energizer or Dynex.

I'm sorry to report, but this light is not tactical. Turns out it's just another flashlight. I went to the dollar store and picked up another flashlight though, that one was tactical. This might beg the question of, why is this flashlight not tactical? My response would be; that's a great question. The irony that no one can answer that can question, but will still flock to buy anything with "tactical" in its name and won't buy anything without "tactical" in its name, is quite amusing.
I spit in your mindless consumer face.

Fantastic little flashlight, compact, bright, simple, functional, and the button allows you to momentarily use the light or turn it on completely, will buy more for friends and family. Would make a great stocking stuffer for Christmas or a thoughtful gift for safety.

I've been researching a new flashlight for work and edc use for a while now. I'm happy with my purchase. It's a perfect size, and it feels like it's built to the highest quality. Works great for what I use out for.

It’s hard to say enough about my Streamlight ProTac 2AAA. I have had mine for two years now and it’s indispensable.
I have been a fan of Streamlight products since I purchased a Boxlite in 1997. I now own an Ultrastinger, Stinger HL, Strion, Strion HL, and my ProTac. I will be adding a Stinger DS LED HPL very soon. There is not one single design element I would change about my ProTac. It is extremely well designed and that make is easy to operate. My ProTac goes in my pocket every morning, even before my wallet or phone. In fact, there have been times I discovered I forgot my phone and continued on my way. However, if my ProTac is not with me, I turn around and go back home to get it. The pocket clip allows me to carry it with approximately one inch of the butt exposed, which allows for easy deployment. The amount of light it produces is very impressive for its size. Inside our home, my ProTac produces light that easily rivals the fixture lighting. Outside in the open, it provides more than enough illumination to safely navigate areas where secure footing is questionable. The light is visible on my neighbor’s home almost six-hundred yards away. Its compact size not only makes it easy and convenient to carry, it is advantageous when light is needed in a small or tight area, such as working under the hood. It cycles through the different lighting modes precisely and without much attention. My ProTac has been abused very badly, yet it is as dependable as the day I first purchas...

The flashlight is small, bright and durable. This is my fourth ProTac 2AAA Professional Tactical Light. I lost one but, keep one in the truck, always carry one and gave one as a gift. I keep one in my hunting bag and it works great in a blind. Small enough to clip inside any shirt or pant pocket.
Pros:
- Small, light, affordable, and high quality thoughout

An absolutely excellent light for the price. Very light and the small tube diameter make it very easy to carry. The battery life is good and the aaa battery can be found everywhere and you can even use rechargeable. The high setting is plenty bright to ID targets at nighttime AND it even has a strobe feature. No reason not to have a tactical light on your body anymore. Perfect EDC light.
Pros:
- Light weight, easy to carry and a strobe feature to boot

This flashlight is durable and reliable and it fits in your breast pocket. It was a present for my wife who needed a bright light. It is the best flashlight that I have ever used. I recommend it highly.

I purchased this product for use in a hospital setting (medical residency). I was sick of cheap pen lights breaking and had even tried a $40 pen light from a reputable medical device company that was a dud as well. I own both Streamlight and Surefire products and decided to look at their products to see if one could fit my needs. Streamlight had several devices that looked like they could fit my needs and I chose the ProTac due to its strong build with relatively slim appearance. It is too heavy to fit comfortably in the front pocket of a dress shirt or a scrub shirt but fits well in the stiff front pocket of my white coat. There are three settings which I will call bright, strobe, and not as bright but still bright. I have to use the least bright setting for patients as the first two settings will blind them. The third setting is acceptable but still a bit too bright. Overall, I think this light is a better alternative to the poorly made products produced by medical device companies but the output may be a bit too high for some patients with sensitive eyes.
Pros:
- Price
- Quality
- battery life
- Output
- Takes AAA batteries
Cons:
- Bright for medical use
- Toggling between setting is sometimes difficult

Carry this light on the molle vest using the pocket clip. I find that it is brighter than my primary light. Also has a strobe feature. Great light for the price.
Pros: Extremely bright
