2L X Streamlight
Really Excellent little flashlight for its size. It is small and not that big but don't let it fool you. This thing is bright, powerful and extremely​ durable. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a 500 lumen light

Light malfunctions after 3 months
My light started flickering and occasionally it would just not turn on at all. It all happens randomly, even with fresh batteries. Works correctly about 70% of the time. That’s not good enough. Optics planet can’t replace it since it’s after the first 30 days, so it will be shipped off to Streamligh...

Awesome light

Does its job
This is a part of my EDC and I use it a lot more often than I thought I would. Obviously a better and safer option than using my mounted light, it comes in handy and fits in my already full pockets thanks to the carry clip. I've had it for 3 months and the batteries are beginning to dim but still very usable (energizer lithium are what I'm using). I've dropped it a few times on concrete (accidentally) and it works no problem. I can't compare it to any other light as this is the 1st I've owned (to carry) but I've used their bigger rechargeable ones for work almost everyday (mechanic) and haven't had any issues so I'm pretty confident with this one. Definitely would recommend.

Excellent flashlight
I bought this intending to use it just when I take my dog out at night but like it so much I use it as an every time carry. The low beam first is excellent for working in my shop when I need just a little more light and I can use the high beam at night if I need a lot of light. I intend to buy another one with the rechargeable battery.

Good light
I have carried one of these every day (No joke every day) for about 3 1/2 years and I have dropped it countless times on concrete. It had a bunch of large deformations/dings in it and much of the finish was worn off. Also the checkering on the body was so worn it was pretty smooth and didn't grip much anymore. One day the electric went out and I was in the bathroom with the light in my mouth the light was kinda flickering a bit I then flushed the toilet and accidentally dropped it... Yes in the toilet while it was still flushing and went away never to be seen again =(. the flickering was probably an easy fix just replace the tailcap but I will never know so sad. well time for light number 2. I think reliability and durability is the most important thing in a light and this light performed well for the price. And a good size for EDC. Glad I didn't flush a surefire.

Flashlight
Very good flashlight especially for the money. Nice and slim while having a very high output. Only con I find and I’m nitpicking is the on/off switch would be great if it was a little more tactile but honestly it’s hardly worth mentioning

Great durable light
I have owned this light for about a year now still love it. I use it at work everyday blows people away when they see it for the first time really bright and for the size super bright. I clip this on the inside of my cargo pocket don't notice it there the clip is great. I have dropped this light from over 5 feet onto concert floors more than once dropped on pavement from a few few still working great hope it works for you the same. Can't say enough about this light and Streamlight products own a few they are all great.

Protac 2L X
I’ve had the original Protac 2L since they first came out and I’ve always loved them. They don’t break the bank and you get the level of quality expected from a duty light. This model 2L X is no different with just a little added lumens of power. Compared it side by side with the 2L and while they aren’t vastly different in output there is definitely a noticeable difference in the added power. They look nice and seem durable enough and there are other reviews testifying on the tough use and durability of the steamlights so don’t hesitste to pick one of these up.

Great bargain
500 honest lumens and great for back pocket carry next to your extra mag ! Does take 2 cr123 batteries but this amount of light is as good as it gets for now with technology. Push button toggles between 3 lighting modes easier and more reliability than previous models.

Compact and bright
This flashlight is a great value and even more so due to great pricing from optics planet. It is extremely bright and compact. Holster it comes with is basic but that's all you need. Perfect for everyday carry.

Streamlight protact 2L X500
Wow, this little guy packs a punch! Perfect size for EDC. Love the way this light projects a spot and flood combined. Extremely pleased with this purchase and highly recommend. Had my eye on this light for awhile and I am not disappointed. Thanks OpticsPlanet for carrying this product.
