Put this on my first AR, and I’m satisfied. The light is fairly bright and I do like the strobe feature. I will say it’s surprisingly not as bright as the light on my Sig M17. But, in all it gets the job done. The pressure plate is responsive and only has one setting coming with 3 mounting options. Again, it’s nothing fancy, it gets the job done.

Great light for the price perfect fit, The 3m tape was used to connect it because my barrel was too short.

Works very well, just larger than I was expecting. As gar as function goes, I like it more than my surefire m640 and it comes with a good tape switch.

Having been on multiple extended range sessions with it, it hasn’t failed me. Battery life is long,it’s been durable. No issues with the light. However the pressure pad has started to fail after my first range session. It will barely activate, as if it’s low on battery. It’s always been a little finicky though. Rubber attachments that come with it are sufficient if you can figure out how to mount it. My main gripe is the pad though. Really a bummer because I hate having anything I even have to second guess about on a rifle I hopefully never have to use for self defense.
Pros:
- durable
- Excellent illumination

The ProTac rail mount optics gun light is awesome . . . powerful and easy to use, especially with the remote switch. I highly recommend it!

Light is great, mounts nicely with the MLOK. The paddle switch is long narrow, just right for palm operation while aiming. Squeeze once for steady beam, twice quickly for strobe. The only problem is mounting the switch. Comes with two big zip ties for the switch itself, two small ones for the cord; two rubberish slide mounts that sort of seem like the intent is to slide over the ends of the switch and then slide over picatinny rail, but it doesn’t; and an adhesive pad that is too large for the switch (cut to fit?). There are two tiny screws that go through holes on the ends of the switch but what would you screw it to? I’ve gone with the large zips for now and it’s not gonna last under movement. I’m thinking of acquiring thin stainless steel wire and wiring the switch off to my MLOK hand guard.
Pros:
- Bright and easy operation
Cons:
- Paddle switch mounting was an after thought

Solid built light. This light had all the options and versatility i was looking for. Pressure pad and push button tail cap. They even give some rubber pressure pad mounts that fit on to your top rail. With 1000 lumens there isn't much it won't illuminate. Do yourself a favor and get the one with the rechargeable streamlight battery. It also runs on CR123A. Versatile. I almost went with the 1100 lumen Inforce. I'm glad i went with the streamlight.

Seems well made. The light is extremely bright! Took it out at night, and it easily produced as much light as a much larger spotlight. So far, I'm happy with my purchase.
