HH88's Review of Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount HL-X LED Long Gun Light
Awesome weapon light. I have three. One mounted on my BCM 11.5" AR. One on my 12.5" AMD65. Another on my WASR AKM. These lights have withstand the upmost abuse. The mounting threads on my first light stripped, which I sent to Streamlight for repair. Streamlight of course honored the two year warranty and sent me a brand new Protac (very simple process btw). Great light and warranty.
Pros:
- Bright. Tailswitch pad. Good battery life. Honorable warranty.
Cons:
- Threads may strip after lengthy use but don't let this dissuade you.
Best Used for:
- Home defense. Hunting. Tactical shooting.
