Great solution for the ProTac 1L-1AA
Using this with the Streamlight ProTac 1L-1AA. Threads perfectly, and was able to program the 10 tap function using this switch without issue. Seems to be high quality. Momentary function works as expected, and the on/off button is a nice add. Very pleased with this purchase.

Not meant for protac hlx’s
Just like the other reviewer, I mistakenly purchased this for my protac hlx. This does not fit the protac hlx at all, it has a male tail cap connector and the protac hlx required a female tail cap. DO NOT BUY! DOES NOT FIT PROTAC
Does not fit ProTac 2L or 2Lx. I have both lights and it does not fit either. Save you time and money. I have no idea what it is supposed to fit. I have 4 Streamlight flashlights and the thread pattern does not fit any of them. By a light that comes with a tap switch. You will be happier.

Does NOT fit Protac 2L
Item is incorrectly described. Package just arrived, and it will not attach to my brand new Protac 2L. The threads are considerably differently pitch, this remote switch being a considerably coarser thread than the factory tail cap. I double checked the item numbers to make sure I didn't get the wrong item by chance. The item itself is of fine quality and function, I just wish I knew which model it was actually meant to attach to. Real bummer as I was hoping to have a working small weapon light.

880175 for the pro tac 2L
I purchased this and a mischief machine mount to install an old pro tac 2L on my AR. This kit didn’t thread into my 2L all that great. The thread OD is definitely larger than the original push button cap. This DEFINITELY won’t fit the 2L-X. I was able to get it working on the 2L. No hardware for the switch. Used 3M double sided tape and zip ties.

Pressure switch
I like that was able to use this switch on my streamlight protact 1l-1aa.... great light by the way. It use this on my AR pistol build. The only thing is, it’s only the tape switch and I wish the rail connectors came with it. That’s the reason for only getting 4 stars.

Fair Warning.
Seems to be of equal quality as the one that came with my Streamlight Protac Rail Mount HL-X. Can't exactly say though because the end that's supposed to go onto my light is instead meant to go INTO a light.
Don't know exactly which model light it's meant to pair with but mine isn't it. I would return it, but I opened the package before checking so I suppose I'm stuck with it...
