I’ve owned several SL20 lights. One is from the late 80s-early 90s. Will the LED replacement work in place of the old Halogen bulb? Great lights. What happened to the old SL35? As retired Texas Peace officer, it was handy as an impact defensive weapon and a joint manipulation device. Just curious?

We have owned a stream light SL20XP LED flashlight for many years. We love it because when there is a power outage the flashlight automatically comes on so you can find it in the dark. It started to not charge, so I started with a new battery. That didn't help but I kept the battery as a backup. Then I ordered a new flashlight but got the wrong flashlight so I had to send it back. Then I thought it might be the bulb. My husband ordered the wrong one for this flashlight so we were unable to use it. It would cost more to send it back then it cost so I kept it. I then ordered the correct bulb. I was excited when it arrived and immediately put it in the flashlight, I put it in the charger and after 4 hours I checked it. The bulb lit up for about 5 seconds and then died. I don't know what is wrong with the flashlight. but I have run out of parts to replace in it and I give up. Very disappointed.

This is the original lamp your SL-20XP LED flashlight came with, has holes to be used with existing LED ring. Superior Streamlight Quality.
