Streamlight SL 20X LED Flashlight ONLY - Black

2 Light options: LED to read printed literature or look at a map and then a high intensity beam to illuminate an area or use as a distraction on an individual who is a threat. The construction of the unit body make this flashlight a good impact striking weapon.
Pros: Sturdy Aluminum Body; 2 lite options
Cons: heavy to being carrying on your person for a shift

They keep getting cheaper

the older sl series was much better. I've only been using them for 4 years and I have three that i've purchased over that time period. My first is still my go to light. The only problem that it has was the ceramic around the bulb always decomposing (easily fixable by using a standard eraser meant to go on top of a pencil... just cut off the tip and stick the remaining cylinder eraser around the bulb to hold it in the reflector. The newer lights however are using really thin metal that just cant stand up for use as a hammer. (I'm afraid to try wedging the new ones)
Pros: common light easy to charge anywhere, mostly low maintenance
Cons: thinner metal than previous editions, knurling is more shallow, and the ceramic around the bulb still breaks easily

Make the button with a material that will really last long-term without tearing.
Cons: The rubber material button will easily tear with medium use.

SL 20

I bought this flashlight to replace my original SL-20 after 10 years of service. This new model is equally well built. The LED works very well with a traffic cone.
Pros: Powerful main light, easy to use led light, durable metal construction.
Cons: Nothing yet

Great light! Charges and holds charge for a long time. Nice weight to it.

Duty light

This flashlight meets all my expectations. I work 12 hour shifts and it is able to last throughout the entire shift with no problems. I like the fact that the LED light works with no problem when I haven't charged the flashlight in awhile.
Pros: Out last any other flashlight I've had.
Cons: Still trying to find one.

Very solid flashlight, excellent features!

This Streamlight is extremely well put together and is well suited for patrol work. The halogen bulb is very bright and the LED's add more peripheral light and a little more intensity to the total output. The battery life is decent and it charges up pretty quickly. Overall, great flashlight.
Pros: Great construction, good size/weight, bright
Cons: LED's are not very bright
