Serious Range
If you're looking for an everyday every-purpose light, this is not it. This light is for those that need long distance light (30+ yds). The beam is tight and bright. It has 3 settings and even its lowest setting is usable at about 100 yds.
Pros: Powerful, Long Range, Compact, Quick to Charge
Cons: Not useful for short range

Flashlight is exactly as described. Excellent throw, bright hotspot and extremely lightweight compared to my previous Stinger. I haven't run the battery past the initial charge so I can not comment on the battery life.

Clear advantage
Excellent product; I have used Streamlight for years: with 615 lumens it will reach very far into the dark with a larger lit area than the normal Strion. Same base charger for all Strions. Wife loves it for walking the dog at night.

Best flashlight I've ever owned
This is the best light I've ever bought. This thing turns night to day it' s brighter righter than the condor flashlight I bought at the same time and it has 910 lumens.the distance of the beam is incredible it lights up a woods 400 yards away and can see different leaf colors easily at 250 yards. Only negative is it was to come with a DC charger which was not in the box but I did not want to be without it for 2 weeks to return it. Worth every penny , charger or not.

Great Light !!
I ordered this light when I thought my older light (different brand) had gone bad. Turns out only the in house charter was bad. The older light is a 700 lumen light. The Strion light of 615 lumens is brighter than the old light and weighs about half as much. The Strion light is also shorter and easier to carry and handle. It truly is a GREAT LIGHT!!!.

I own two other Streamlight LED flashlighs. They do not compare with this flashlight. The beam is both long and
wide which is great at night on a call. Being in rural SC there are no streetlights so we need all the help
available in order to perform our investigations to properly serve the citizens of our county.

Powerful, but not perfect.
I prefer to have two switches. One at the end only is not of use if you're standing and want to activate light level from thigh height. Annoys me more than I would have guessed, but now I know what would make a "5 star" flashlight.
Other than the significant lack of a "mid-body" switch it is a near perfect quality flashlight with lots of power.

Streamlight Strion HPL Flashlight
This rechargeable flashlight can't be beat. Lumens power to size/weight ratio is absolutely awesome as is the military grade construction. As structural engineers we use them daily for our inspection work. We also have Streamlight's Stinger LED HP flashlights which are excellent but significantly longer and heavier. The Strion always is picked for it's convenience in carrying. Trust me, this flashlight is a winner.

I bought this for my husband's birthday. He loved it. The light is really bright and has an optional flash. It is very useful for his collection. It doesn't take long to charge, and it fits nicely on the gun. I would recommend this to anyone. Also a cool toy.

Best light out there
I have used sure fire for 10 plus years and the batteries will last 1 hour and there not cheap. I bought this and used it this past hunting season and only need to charge it twice. On high beam it will light you a path. I am glad i bought this flashlight. I had no issues with this light.

Excellent light. I bought it as a replacement for one I lost. It is bright, has a focused beam that carries a far distance, it maintains it's charge well, it can be kept on it's charger base without over-charging or hurting charge life.
