Pretty good mechanic's light, but I should've gotten the spare battery
I've been using this in a tire shop for half a year now, when a job calls for more than just a pen light, and it's met most of my needs. Bright enough. Variety of position/attachment/angle options. It's been dropped six feet a bunch of times with no damage (magnet's a little weak, but mostly my fault for bumping into it).
I do have a couple of complaints. The two-sided thing is a little pointless and I almost always forget which side lights up first and blind myself, seems more intuitive to have the button side light up first. My other big complaint is that there's no indication that the battery is low until it suddenly dims. I regret not buying the package with the spare battery. Other minor complaints, UV is a little weak, pop-out hook opening could be bigger, would be nice if the button was on the side so you could turn it on without opening it.
Overall it's been good enough that I don't plan on replacing it unless it breaks.
