Streamlight tl-2 ir weaponlight - Streamlight TL-2 IR LED Hand-Held Tactical Light

I purchased my Streamlight TL-2 IR weaponlight to give additional illumination for my Yukon NVMT monocular w/headgear. I was amazed by the 300 yd range of the TL-2 IR allowing me to easily identify a human form at 250+ yds with the previously mentioned eguipment. It has a nice periferal field of illumination with a bright spot in the middle for the longest range. It is only rated at 78 lumens in IR, but it would take a 160 lumen white light led to compare it with in the visible spectrum. It has a pocket clip and lanyard and would greatly extend the useful range of any Gen I night vision device. A superior IR flashlight.
Cheap Hong Kong IR flashlights have half the range and only 20 minute run time. I doubt I'll ever put batteries in my cheapie HK flashlight again.
