I wasn't sure what to expect as there were no online reviews of this product. This flashlight has exceeded my expectations!!! Its has a nice concentrated center with just the right amount of spill. I have used this to spot critters at 300-350 and had zero issues in doing so and could pry go beyond that quite easily. I mostly use it for under 100yrds and I have it mount to my AR. The diameter is smaller than 1" which wasn't a big deal as I took electrical tape wrapped it around till it fit in my light mount. Also another turn for some might be the faint red glow from the LED. Its not a problem for me unless you are under 5 ft away and staring directly at it you wont notice it. Plus I don't have to worry about someone shooting back. Everything you would expect from a normal streamlight you can expect from this!!!! Will be buying another!!!!

If you need that extra bit of NVG view in total darkness...this product is worth it. It does use the standard "red" glow of most IR emitters but I've found that glow comparable to my standard one on my device but the light output to 50 yards is amazing (I know it goes further but that yardage is the extent I required). The bounce back of glare from trees, etc is manageable and also depends on your NVG generation. For the money, it's a great choice.

The description of the TL-2 made it unclear if this was a weapon light (mounted on a one inch diameter ring) or a hand held flashlight. It is a flashlight with about a 3/4 inch diameter battery tube, not the 0.9 inch described. It is a great IR flashlight! More lumens than competing weapon lights in similar price range (like Mite Core) because the LED is IR only. It claims to be useful to 200 yards but with a Gen3+ sight it is useful to 400 yards. It is so bright that it blooms out my Gen 3+ at close range but comes into its own the 7-10 nights a month going into and out of a new moon. I was able to adapt the flashlight to my weapon mount by wrapping two turns of skateboard tape around the handle and removing the retainer clip. I like the simplicity of the IR only light, just wish it had an adjustable focus to avoid bloom out and a one inch diameter handle. A small square of electric tape in center of lens reduces over illuminating field of view but the lens gets hot and the tape gets sticky. A mess to clean up but possible. OP gave me free shipping and ten percent off the day I purchased it. Always worth checking in on specials at OP.

Works great with my night scope. IR extends the Visibility of the scope better than the built in IR. But will bounce light back from objects in its path to blind your scope. Great step before spending the money on thermal equipment.

With night vision equipment this light works similar to a flashlight. It performs as expected and seems, so far, to have a good battery life. The clip on the light adds additional value and makes for an overall great light.
